    KDL, the local library district, has announced a significant change to its policy regarding late fees for library materials. As of the effective date, KDL will no longer charge late fees for library materials that are returned past their due date.

    Kent District Library has made it easy for residents to explore the city’s attractions without breaking the bank. With partnerships in place with some of Grand Rapids’ most popular museums and attractions, library cardholders can enjoy a wide range of activities and experiences.

    Access to Museums and Galleries

  • Kent District Library has partnered with the Grand Rapids Public Museum, the Grand Rapids Art Museum, and the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park to offer free or discounted tickets to library cardholders. These partnerships provide access to a variety of exhibits, collections, and events that showcase the city’s rich history, art, and culture.

    Kanopy is a streaming service that offers a wide variety of independent films, documentaries, and classic movies.
